RivingtonHark are delighted that the 1,300ft aerial runway has been given the green light by Liverpool's City Council Planning Committee.

After months of speculation, RivingtonHark are pleased to announce that ZipWorld will be expanding over the border with their first site outside of Wales. On 30th June planning was officially approved for ZipWorld Liverpool to launch the first urban zip line in the UK and Europe.

RivingtonHark was actively involved in the campaign to secure support from neighbouring owners and even accompanied some of them to experience the mile long ZipWorld line at Penrhyn Quarry.  David Henderson-Williams (Director of RivingtonHark) said: “never has going the extra mile to close a deal been so true, especially when it involved hurtling through the air 500 feet above the ground at 100mph!  I can’t wait to repeat the experience across the Liverpool skyline.  I am in no doubt that this will become a major tourist attraction in it’s own right”

Plans will see customers zipping from the top of our very own St John’s Beacon, part of the St John’s Shopping Centre and landing on the roof of the historic Liverpool Central Library. Scheduled opening for the attraction will be summer 2021.
