Palace Shopping, Enfield
Palace Exchange and Palace Garden Shopping Centres, together now known as; Palace Shopping, form the prime shopping pitch for the town and wider London Borough of Enfield.
RivingtonHark is appointed as Strategic Asset Adviser, Development Manager and Leasing Advisor supporting the owner’s asset management team for Palace Shopping in London Borough of Enfield. The scheme has over 60 units totalling 380,000 sq ft, with anchors including Waitrose and M&S. Palace Shopping also has a multi storey car park totalling 510 spaces.
Our development and regeneration team is working with all stakeholders to deliver a business plan with short, medium and long-term strategies. These will transform the environment from a low-density retail dominated shopping centre, to a sustainable, mixed use town centre environment, unlocking the inherent potential of the site.
Works to refurbish the public washroom facilities and covered mall have been completed and planning consent for further external improvements to the main square, public realm and entrance have been secured with start on site expected in 2024.
These works will be undertaken in conjunction with consented extension and refit works to be carried out by Pearsons department store.
Once completed, these improvements will support the new branding and secure the long terms future of the retained centre.
Longer term proposals will require a truly collaborative effort with London Borough Enfield and local organisations by expertise from across the company to identify and deliver the full potential that Palace Gardens and Palace Exchange shopping centres clearly have.
