Eldon Square, Newcastle

Our aim is to protect and enhance Newcastle City Council’s long-term interest in the asset by proactively seeking an evolution of the centre following the demise of Intu and the structural changes impacting retail.

This is being done by working with the head leaseholder and their Asset Management team, and the asset is already achieving the major adaptation of the old 180,000 sq ft Debenhams store into a new Next and leisure project (on site).  Sephora are opening on 13^th September and further major leisure proposals are due to be announced shortly.

RivingtonHark also act as the Fund Monitoring Surveyor through the development stage of the changes, with a current development budget of over £30M.
