Role Description:

• Real Estate Investment & Asset Management Analyst based in London.

• Analyse real estate investment opportunities in the UK retail sector.

• Perform acquisition analysis, investment modelling, due diligence, business plan development and work closely with investment, asset management and development teams.

• Take part in investment acquisition transactions.

• Create and maintain development appraisals.

• Present investment opportunities to the Investor Committee and participate in discussions to explain the investment rationale.

• Oversee and update portfolio analysis of existing assets under management.

• Assist asset management team with preparation of quarterly reports.

• Work with existing investment models and modify as needed.

 

Requirements:

• Degree with a focus on Real Estate.

• Years of experience in real estate field: 1-2 years but flexible.

• Highly numerate and have excellent communication skills.

• Experience modelling retail, but it is not necessary.

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Strong financial modelling – candidate must be able to build models from scratch.

• Experience underwriting real estate transactions.

• Calculation and analysis of project and investment IRR, Equity Multiple, Cash-on-Cash, Yield etc.

• Entrepreneurial initiative with a strong sense of autonomy and accountability.

• Strong presentation and report writing skills

• Excellent communication skills, along with tenacity, drive, and a desire to succeed.

• A team player mentality.
