Role Description:
- Real Estate Investment & Asset Management Analyst based in London.
- Analyse real estate investment opportunities in the UK retail sector.
- Perform acquisition analysis, investment modelling, due diligence, business plan development and work closely with investment, asset management and development teams.
- Take part in investment acquisition transactions.
- Present investment opportunities to the Investor Committee and participate in discussions to explain the investment rationale.
- Oversee and update portfolio analysis of existing assets under management.
- Assist asset management team with preparation of quarterly reports.
- Work with existing investment models and modify as needed.
- Development appraisals, cashflow modelling across new and existing assets
- Oversight of external portfolio valuers
Requirements:
- Degree with a focus on Real Estate.
- Highly numerate and have excellent communication skills.
- Experience modelling retail is preferable, but not essential.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong financial modelling – candidate must be able to build models from scratch.
- Experience underwriting real estate transactions.
- Calculation and analysis of project and investment IRR, Equity Multiple, Cash-on-Cash, Yield etc.
- Entrepreneurial initiative with a strong sense of autonomy and accountability.
- Strong presentation and report writing skills
- Excellent communication skills, along with tenacity, drive, and a desire to succeed.
- A team player mentality.
