Andrew Goodwin

Andrew is an experienced chartered surveyor in all aspects of property development and lifecycle improvement as client-side Property Director and Head of Development positions at CBRE DTZ and Donaldsons. Andrew has been responsible for ambitious and successful transformations of retail and mixed use environments including Leicester and Belfast city centres.

In leading CBRE's London Development team Andrew was engaged in extensive change of use and repurposing advice with an emphasis on local authority partnerships, collaboration and a broad review of the alternative factors that are now required to improve town centre environments. Leading site assembly, local authority engagement and professional team assembly and management.

Experience covers all areas of the development process from portfolio review, due diligence, team assembly and mentoring, planning, design and implementation, taking responsibility for financial metrics, programme and capital forecasting.

Recent projects include leading the design review of John Lewis Partnerships Oxford Street store to identify design and alternative use options, Development Management of Waterloo City Hub regeneration advising Transport for London and London Borough Lambeth to investigate development options for a mixed-use commercial led scheme of up to 500,000sqft and leading development agreement for lease negotiations at Peckham on behalf of Blackrock bringing about a transformational phased new city quadrant with high density residential through redevelopment of a retail centre.
