Mark Williams

Mark is a co-founder of RivingtonHark and focuses on the investment, funding and strategic partnerships/master-planning that we undertake with our partners from both the Public and Private sector. He is well known within the wider industry and was pro bono Chair of the Government Retail Property Taskforce from 2012 to 2014, and President of Revo in 2018.
At RivingtonHark Mark has led on over £2bn of projects with our investors. These include setting up the UK's first ESG fund targeting shopping centres, our Value Add Fund with Veld and our acquisition of many town centres for Local Authorities as we support them in their rejuvenation. Mark also provides strategic advise to City Council’s including Newcastle.

Prior to founding RivingtonHark Mark was Head of the European retail and leisure team at DTZ (now Cushman and Wakefield). He led the Funding of Liverpool One and advised on the creation of the Birmingham Alliance - two of the UK’s most significant City Centre regeneration projects in the last 50 years. He was regarded as one of the leading Retail capital market advisors across Europe as well as advising on trophy assets such as the sale of the Tiem Warner building ion New York. Mark also worked closely with corporate occupiers including acting for M&S; Safeway and Lex in buying the RAC.
