The Liberty, Romford

Through our strategic partnership with Redical Holdings, The Liberty was identified as an asset with potential opportunity for further evolution and improvement, and held key investment requirements in a growing London location. We supported Redical with the purchase due diligence, underwrote the Business Plan, and are appointed as Asset and Development Managers.

The Liberty is a strong London asset and provides the retail heartbeat of Romford, providing over 400,000 sq.ft of shopping and a 800 space car park over 13 acres of the town centre . The scheme is adjacent to Romford’s historic market and anchored by Boots, JD, H&M and Flannels, as well as having a blend of national multiple and independent occupiers.

The focus is to continue to build on the retail dominance that The Liberty has in the wider Romford area, by evolving the tenant mix and customer experience. In addition, we will also be seeking to create more space within the asset for Leisure, F&B, Grocery, Offices and Health & Wellbeing. The Liberty also provides a great opportunity to deliver residential development and we will be using our significant Development Management expertise and experience to work with the Council and other key stakeholders to unlock these with opportunities across the site for over 500 homes.
