The Liberty, Romford

Through our strategic partnership with Redical Holdings The Liberty was identified as an asset that had the key investment requirements in a growing London location and provided the opportunity for further evolution of the asset. We supported Redical with the purchase due diligence, underwrote the Business Plan and are appointed as Asset and Development Managers.

The Liberty is a strong London asset and provides the retail heartbeat of Romford covering 790,000 sq ft of space providing over 400,000 sq.ft of shopping and a 800 space car park. The scheme is adjacent Romford’s historic market and anchored by Boots, JD, H&M and Flannels as well as having a blend of national multiple and independent occupiers.

The focus will be to continue to build on the retail dominance that The Liberty has in the wider Romford area by evolving the tenant mix and customer experience. In addition we will also be seeking to create more space within the asset for Leisure, F&B, Grocery, Offices and Health & Wellbeing. The Liberty also provides a great opportunity to deliver residential development and we will be using our significant Development Management expertise and experience to work with the Council and other key stakeholders to unlock these.
