Winsford Cross

The vision is to maintain footfall and occupancy whilst plans to regenerate the town centre following a successful Future High Street Fund bid are put into place. The plans will improve the customer experience though environmental and public realm enhancements as well as improving the retail and leisure offer.

Built in the 1970’s Winsford Cross is a 225,000 sq ft scheme purchased by Cheshire West in 2018 to arrest its decline following years of under investment. The centre benefits from a loyal and local customer base and strong footfall. The centre provides over 70 units with tenant’s including Boots, Wilkos, B&M, Home Bargains and Argos.

Rivington Hark is working closely with the local authority to transform the town centre through aesthetic improvements, supporting key tenants and introducing a mixture of new retail brands, independent local businesses and community uses.
