New Year, New Stores
New Year, New Stores
Two new stores have joined the St Johns family! Travel agency Perfect Getaways and Asian Restaurant Rock Spice opened their doors to the shoppers at large. With a perfect introduction, both retailers are set to have a great future alongside St Johns’ existing stores.
Just a stone’s throw away from Liverpool Lime Street, St Johns Shopping Centre is the go-to location for anyone that wants to find a great deal with an even better atmosphere. With a mix of local and national brands, there’s something for everyone at this central retail hub, with Aldi, Wilko and Matalan all in the mix.
General manager Neil Ashcroft said:
“St Johns has been part of the fabric of Liverpool for a very long time, and it’s important that we continue to both invest in our existing retailers and attract new stores to the centre. We are always looking to bring in more variety and choice for our shoppers.”
We’re known for being home to some great local indies and have built our reputation on being an eclectic mix with big and small. With the addition of these new stores, we are really looking forward to a great few months ahead.”

Phase 1 Plans for Swansea Central Submitted
Detailed plans by Swansea Council's development manager, Rivington Land, for Phase 1 of the 'Swansea Central' scheme have been submitted. This £100 million first part of the development incorporates a 3,500-capacity digital venue to be run by ATG.
The development will also include a coastal park together with parking on the southern side of Oystermouth Road, plus further parking, commercial and residential uses on the north side. The sites will be united and linked with the city centre by a broad pedestrian bridge.
The development – which already has outline consent – will also see the start of enabling works this month.

Following on from the recent Charlatans’ events, Rivington Land’s active asset management at Barons Quay, Northwich now includes arranging and promoting events which are providing extra reasons for people to visit the centre – such as this new sandy beach designed to provide both a fun and appropriate attraction to the centre’s inviting waterside setting.
